Raz Kids is an excellent reading tool that can be used most anywhere, as it can be accessed through any home computer, as well as tablets and smart phones. The website has an Android and Apple Store app, so it is a very convenient program.
This website allows the user to access books that are appropriate to his or her reading level. I assess the level at school, and then assign books through the website. As you make progress, I will update the level and you will gain access to new and more challenging books.
There are icons below each book. The ear icon provides audio with the story. The eye icon is read only. This function also offers a recording mode, in which your voice can be recorded as you read the book. The other icon is for the quiz. You can earn extra stars for completing the quiz.
I hope that all parents can sign up to the program, as then you will be able to track your child’s progress, and become involved in his or her reading development.
